afternoon tea and a canucks game

sunshine was the perfect setting for afternoon tea at the fish house in stanley park last saturday.





finally, a day without having to put my rain jacket on! it was a perfect day for a walk to stanley park with a hundred others who took advantage of the sunshine!





and after 8 years in vancouver, aldo finally watched the vancouver canucks live! we found tickets to the vancouver canucks vs. dallas stars game and booked them right away - and became part of 18,000 people in the crowd! we had great seats - right behind the penalty box and across the teams. it was great to finally watch a game - i'm not much of a sport spectator (ESPN isn't exactly my favorite channel), but watching live will definitely turn you into a hockey fan.... it must have been the sound of players being cross-checked into the glass walls. it's pretty funny being in a gallery of hockey blokes too, because you get a running commentary and hockey lesson in every corner. as for aldo... he pretty much screamed his lungs out and let the players know he was on their side. hehehe. good thing we won 5-2! go canucks go!
