deja vu

aldo's been away on a business trip for a week now and it feels oddly familiar to be talking to him from halfway across the globe, in different time zones.

same old long distance relationship, different time.

LOL.

i'm glad we're not counting months this time though - i don't think i'll survive toddlerhood alone!

trick-or-treat!

amori's pumpkin bucket was full of goodies (good job at being cute amori - you got mama and papa lots of chocolate!) and she had fun knocking on people's doors to ask for candy (truly her father's daughter!). best of all, she wore her love bug costume without fidgeting - even the hoodie!

hope you had fun trick-or-treating too!

snip, snip

amori had her very first professional haircut today at the Hair Loft in Granville Island.

i thought she would be squirmy and restless but thanks the the zebra chair and Elmo, she seemed oblivious to the snipping.

15 short minutes and 3 inches of hair later...

ain't she cute??? hehehe. the lady who cut her hair said she has never cut that much hair on a one-year old before!

it's fall!

the change of season always gives us crazy weather so when it's rainy and soggy outside, amori's busy with her mobile phone...

or with her stack of books (flipping thru them and/or ripping them apart is more like it!).

but on crisp, sunny days, she's busy planning future holidays and ski trips with maya.

or running around without a care in the world.

after all, it'll be winter soon and the rains will keep us indoors all over again (UGH!!!). on a happy note though, i am loving the change in landscape... the trees are turning red/orange/brown, and most streets are covered in leaves - it's definitely the picture-perfect time of the year.
